About Me

I like atypical series & I'm a sucker for opening sequences that are either really artsy or have characters running around. Why the running pleases me so much, I don't know, but it is most awesome. 360 degree shots also rule!

Favorite Series: Honey & Clover, Mushishi, Fullmetal Alchemist (obviously), Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, and I guessssss Naruto, even though a lot of it is mediocre at times. The characters are hilarious, though sometimes unintentionally so, and the 5th & 8th openings own me. (Whoa-ohhh whoa-ohhh WHOA-ohhh!) Ooh, and Miyazaki's movies kick quite a lot of cinematic ass.

Favorite Bands: The Smashing Pumpkins, Ted Leo & the Pharmacists, The Pillows, Sambomaster, Spitz, Weezer, The Weakerthans, The Dismemberment Plan, Super Furry Animals, U2, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Chisel, and some selected tracks from Superchunk, Interpol, Elliott Smith, Blur, New Order, Pet Shop Boys, and Pete Yorn.

Otakus both scare and fascinate me. ^_^
